As a part of the BEST Award competition, teams will give an oral presentation in which the team members should view themselves as employees of a “company” that is marketing their “product” (robot) to a potential buyer (judges). This marketing team is an integral part of the engineering team that has designed a specialized robot.
The marketing presentation should provide information about their company, the engineering team involved in the design and construction of the product, and why their product is the best one on the market that can complete the assigned task. The potential buyer will be assessing the following:
Teams may sign up for a 30 minute time slot, which includes 5 minutes to set up, 15 minutes to make your presentation, 5 minutes to pack up (and 5 more minutes for the judges to deliberate). Presentations will occur simultaneously in the ASU Student Union "Spring River" rooms A and U, so two teams may sign up for each available time slot. Room assignments will be made on Game Day during team check-in. Times are first-come, first-served; sign up early to get your preferred time!
